MailPulse

Anti-spam policy

The rules about who you may email. This is the shortest document here and the one most likely to get an account closed.

Effective 31 July 2026Questions: support@royalbengal.ai

One rule

Send only to people who asked you to. Everything below follows from that.

MailPulse is an opt-in platform and it is built that way deliberately. There is no setting that turns this off and no plan that exempts you from it.

What counts as permission

Somebody gave you their address knowing they would hear from you, and knowing roughly what about. A signup form, a checkout box they ticked themselves, an event registration, an existing customer relationship where you said you would email them.

What does not count: a list you bought, rented, swapped or scraped. Addresses collected for one purpose and used for another. A pre-ticked box. A conference badge scan with no mention of email. Somebody who unsubscribed and was re-imported.

Every campaign carries an unsubscribe

It is added automatically and it cannot be removed. It works with one click, without asking the recipient to sign in or confirm, which is what Gmail and Yahoo now require of bulk senders.

An unsubscribe takes effect immediately across your whole workspace, not just the campaign it came from. A campaign already in progress stops sending to anybody who unsubscribes while it runs.

Bounces and complaints suppress themselves

When a mailbox permanently rejects a message, that address is suppressed and will not be sent to again. A temporary failure, such as a full mailbox, is recorded but does not suppress anybody.

When somebody marks your email as spam, that address is unsubscribed automatically.

You cannot turn this off, and re-importing a suppressed address does not revive it.

What happens if you break this

Sending from your workspace can be suspended without notice. High bounce or complaint rates put the whole platform's ability to deliver at risk, including for customers who have done nothing wrong, so this is not a matter of degree.

We will tell you what happened and what to fix. Repeated or deliberate breaches end the account.

If you are unsure whether a list is safe to send to, ask us at support@royalbengal.ai before you send it rather than after.

The law underneath this

In the United States, CAN-SPAM sets the floor: no deceptive headers or subject lines, a clear way to opt out that is honoured within ten business days, and a valid postal address in the message. Canada's CASL and the European Union's rules go further and require consent before the first message rather than an opt-out after it.

This policy asks for more than CAN-SPAM does, deliberately. Meeting the legal minimum in one country is not enough to keep mail out of the spam folder, and the mailbox providers are stricter than the statutes.

Following this policy is not the same as legal advice, and where you send matters as much as what you send. If you mail into the European Union, the United Kingdom or Canada, the rules that apply to you are theirs.

Written to describe what MailPulse actually does rather than to cover everything a lawyer would cover. If something here does not match what you see in the product, the product is the thing that is wrong and we want to hear about it: support@royalbengal.ai.
